I can see all the would-be carb clogging gas junk caught in the filter now. also is nice to see if the the level in the filter to see if the fuel pump is sucking it away and/or if the prime bulb is pushing the fuel into the filter. both fittings were too big for my TOHATSU 9.9 HP though.

The ends are sealed with large O rings to prevent leakage and very easy to change filter provided you have plastic or soft rubber fuel lines. The fact you can see the fuel condition is awesome. Used two of them on my light plane and provide more than enough fuel flow for both carbs. highly reccommed these filters.

The filter is advertised as a universal inline filter. But the package stated it is for marine(outboard motors only)? Went to the local auto parts and found a Moeller filter with molded intake and filtered output nipple.

Which works fine for my application (antique car). It was disappointing but not earth shattering to receive a

product from on line which was advertised wrongly.
