Buy ProForm Hydration Belt Now
I bought this belt b/c the price was right at less than $20. I paid over $40 for my last hydration belt, and the impression it gave me wasn''t a positive one (that''s a whole different review Amphipod). After one run I''ve learned how tight this one should be and where it rests most comfortably.
I ran five miles with no body glide and no shirt and felt the bottles rub my abdomen only slightly (I''m not overweight by the way). The rub was nothing that a little body glide or a shirt wouldn''t fix. I just wanted to try it shirtless and Glideless first, since that''s how I run in hot weather.
I wouldn''t run 20 miles shirtless with this belt, but that''s just not a deal breaker for me. I can always throw on a singlet for those runs.
The bottles fit in the straps, but you''ll definitely have to slow down and focus to replace them. However, you don''t have to take it off as one review states that person obviously had a bad experience and needs a hug!
Also, the belt has ample storage space. I just wish it had a gel container.
Verdict: good belt for the price! Both pockets on the belt ripped and the water bottles are not good. Very cheaply made. Next time I will spend more money to get something that will with stand my runs. When I saw the price for this hydration belt and all the great reviews I was sold. Don''t make the same mistake I did!! This thing only lasted me one run! On the second run I lost a bottle because the strap came undone and the 2 pockets had completely ripped at the bottom. I''m just lucky I didn''t loose my ipod and house key on my run. Don''t be tempted to get this because its so much cheaper than all the others. You''ll end up buying the more expensive one anyways. The 2 runs this thing went on were only 5 miles each so its not like they went on this huge runs. Don''t do it!!
