All that said, it''s not my favorite thermos. I don''t like using it for water because I''m constantly refilling it and would have preferred a larger size option. It''s not the most comfortable thing for me to hold. I prefer to put my thumb in the loop with my palm against the mug, but it''s not quite wide enough to do this, even with small hands. You have to hold it from the outside of the handle or put your index finger through the loop, palm against the mug, and thumb around the front. Finally, if you use dishwashing tablets, know that some residue will be left on the plastic parts of the mug and you''ll have to rinse it or handwash those parts.I have searched high & low for a durable travel mug with a handle that does not leak with regular use & will not spill if tipped over this is it! In the past I have bought many cheaper ones because cost was an initial deterrent, but after they either broke or leaked hot tea on me (for a total cost much more than this mug) I caved, and could not be more satisfied. I misplaced it last wk and searched in vain for another (could not remember make/name), but thankfully I found mine today! I immediately came online to buy a back up :o)I''ve had one of these mugs for over a year. I would buy one again in a hot minute! Coffee is still hot enough to drink after eight hours. As long as the button type seal is tightly in place, this cup will not leak. I don''t use the handle or the cup/lid. I use the mug more like a tumbler than a regular coffee cup. My only wish is that it was a little bigger. 13oz is sorta small for me. In short this is the best hot or cold drink mug that I''ve ever owned.
