Second, not sure why the lady thought that a slip cover for a 29 oz bottle wouldn''t be hard to get on a 40 oz bottle, but that is her problem.
I used mine on a Guyot Designs 32 oz Backpacker, which is similarly shaped, and it went on fairly easily. As the first reviewer commented though, it doesn''t insulate that well. I think if they made it thicker it would work a lot better. As it is though, you will get better results with a neoprene sleeve or cover. This by itself just doesn''t do it.I bought this cover for my 29 ounch Innate Fresco V2 hoping it would add a little insulation & perhaps keep it from sweating as much. After using it a week or two I would say it adds at most a few minutes of insulation and moisture still condenses right through it.
What''s worse, I''m starting to notice some dark spots under the silicon cover which I fear may be mold. I tried to peel the cover back to check them out, but the slip fits very snugly (it took several minutes to put on & seems even harder to remove).
Another minor gripe: it doesn''t quite match the light green Innate Fresco lid. It''s close, but not quite the same green. Coming from Innate I was expecting it to be the same color.
Buy Innate Reservoir Slip for Fresco Now
Innate Reservoir Slip for FrescoI got this beautiful lime green slip for my Mega Fresco 40 ounce stainless steel water bottle. It was very pretty and took an act of God to get the slip on the water bottle!!! Once on, it didn''t fit the bottle right. It leaves a space on the bottom, and the top for water to get in it! I called the company and the lady on the phone said "well I slipped mine on just fine!" NO offer to send a bigger one or anything! I pulled on the slip to get it on the bottle, my friend pulled on it and finally my Husband pulled on it and got it on. It says to wash with soap and water, but, to get it on after that, you best have a STRONG man to pull the darn thing on and then be prepared that it does not fit a 40 ounce bottle! Most disappointing!
