Unlike other brackets that require a specific seat post diameter or specific rail spacing, the Origin8 HydroRail will fit a great variety of saddle rails. The clamp-screw goes through a wide slot, not a fixed hole, so the spacing between clamps and their orientation is very flexible.

It is stiff, lightweight, and sturdy. The surface finish is attractive and perfect. It was easy to adjust. The rails each have a threaded hole to mount a CO2 cartridge, if you''re into that. The left and right rail angles are independently adjustable -the adjust-ability is very nice and helps avoid the dreaded Bottle Ejector syndrome, although I don''t see a lot of utility in being able to set each side to a different angle.

I recommend applying assembly grease to the threaded fasteners before use to prevent galling and make adjustments easier. I also strongly recommend that you take your saddle off the seatpost to install the HydroRail, as installing it took a modicum of dexterity -not hard, but trying to install it while the saddle is mounted on your bike will lead to frustration.

It is a very nicely engineered product, and I''m glad I bought it.

This thing is built very strong. I really enjoy it. Seems to be built like a tank. I will say this though, my buddy has a very high end, and expensive, seat bottle holder, and it is much lighter than this one. I guess, you get what you pay for, and I think this bracket is a killer good value.

Nothing fancy, this does what it needs to do. I like a small seat post bag for tubes/inflator, etc., which is pretty tricky to use with this setup. The origin8 is good quality and light.

Nice, well build, and sturdy. Does its job exactly like its supposed to. Does not wobble at all. 4 stars because it is pretty heavy, but so is the water in the bottles, so its really of little concern unless you''re counting every gram.

The HydroRail simply doesn''t stand up to its intended usage. The first one I had snapped, dropping my bottle, still in its cage, to the ground at 20mph, this with very few miles put in on smooth Phoenix, AZ streets. I received a warranty replacement from the seller, and on the second ride out, one of the clamps that holds the entire setup to the seat rails failed and forced me to move a bottle onto my frame, and put the other bottle in my jersey pocket just to get home. I would avoid this thing as there are superior products out there.
