I really like the idea of an American made bottle. It comes from recycled material as well. I have waited for these to be available for a few months and was glad to finally found a place that sold them. I was a little worried about the seal on the top, but it has never failed me. I hope they come out with a slightly smaller bottle in their Sky Blue color.Read Best Reviews of Liberty Bottle Works Straight Up Bottle Here
This bottle is easy to open and close, because they designed a unique cap that only requires a partial turn. The open space in the top of the cap can be used to stick your fingers through to get a better mechanical grip if you desire or need to. You could even use an object as a lever and stick it through the top of the cap and turn to open it. This is not like the top of a soda pop bottle where the two pieces are threaded and you have to turn it a bunch of times. The rim of the bottle is smooth except for 3 locking lugs, although they are smooth to the touch and you will not notice them while drinking. They provide for the locking of the cap with only a slight twist, it''s really cool and extremely convenient. The cap can stand on it''s head so the bottom seal will not get contaminated by setting it down. Because of the cap design, it is extremely easy to hold the cap and bottle in one hand while drinking. This can be achieved by putting a single finger through the top part of the cap. This bottle is available at an affordable price and is made in the USA. The materials are quality and are made of the safe food/drink grade plastic and metals. The bottle color has been durable and shows little signs of wear. The bottle does not get odors and is easy to clean anyway. My girlfriend has a water bottle obsession and I was geting tired of finding those stupid disposable bottles everywhere. I had previously purchased a plastic water bottle for her, which she loved for over a year until it started to "taste funny". I figured a metal bottle would be nice but her two requirements were that it had to be big and be able to get normal ice cubes into it. This one works great so far (about two weeks) and she realy likes the colr too.
