High Sierra Solo Lumbar Pack

I bought this pouch for a trip to hawaii. I like to hike, but don''t want stuff in my pockets. I have a small waist (like 27 inches) so there was a lot of slack to be dealt with when wearing it around the waist, but I actually prefer to wear it diagonally across my chest with the pack at the back. The water bottle and holder are perfect. I found it hard to wear at the waist/hips with the full water bottle (much easier on the diagonal), but otherwise love it. The pouch is big enough to hold a cell phone, keys, wallet, granola bar. Perfect for a hike or walk. Great Value.

This should not be called a lumber pack. Aside from the water bottle space, it is hardly different from a money belt. The front compartment is very narrow and tight; I can barely fit my thin wallet inside, never mind my cellphone and keys.

I got this in black. This bag is good for mini traveling. You can''t really put much in this bag. I use this for traveling on the road with my road bike. I figure I might need to carry a small towel, small first-aid kit, extra water (the bottle is included), road map, and other stuff if needed. Don''t expect too much from this bag. With this price, I can not say much cons about this product.

Nice little bag for the price; don''t expect to carry everything you own in it, but for carrying a few items it''s a great bag, with a wide comfortable waist strap, plenty of padding and a good water bottle. To give you an idea of what it will hold, here is what is in mine:

Two dollar-store plastic travel soap dishes (one contains first aid supplies, one contains a small knife, sharpener, and magnesium fire starter); small ziplock bag of steel wool and dryer lint for kindling; 25 feet of 550 cord; emergency blanket; 5-function emergency whistle; water purification tablets; a Z-Blade Knife ().

I''m sure I can also fit my bow stringer and a spare longbow string, but that''s probably about it. The bag is made very well and should hold up just fine for a long time.

This holds very little very thin. Maybe a sandwich and pair of gloves nothing else.

Also, when the water bottle (which is a bit over a pint I think) is full, the weight is not carried comfortably.

I think it''s nearly useless.
