Limited Edition Water.org CamelBak Groove Water Bottle

This water bottle looks very nice and works well. The main reason I purchased the bottle was that part of the purchase price goes to charity. It is a nice bonus that it is a great product too.

I swore off of bottled water a few months ago, and was doing pretty well until it came time to go on vacation about a month ago. It was going to be a long drive to our destination, and it was either buy a nice bottle that could handle whatever rest stops threw at me, drink juice & soda, the entire way, or break down and get bottled water. I opted for the first option.

The bottle was very easy to set up at first the instructions are easy to follow, and the packaging isn''t horrible. The bottle was super easy to get used to, too just bite and drink! It''s easy to fill, and you can add ice, too (just make sure that you don''t fill it all the way to the bottom of the rim if you''re adding a lot of ice it''ll overflow!)

I didn''t really notice a difference in taste to begin with, but after drinking solely from this bottle for a few weeks, I tried a sip of regular tap water yuck!

The only issues I''ve had with this are the condensation (which is bound to happen when you fill an uninsulated metal bottle with ice water), and the fact that sometimes, it IS hard to drink from. It does get to the point where it feels like you''re going to suck your cheeks inside out, and you''re still not getting much water... But I figured out the solution just remove the filter and rinse it under running water for a few seconds. When you replace it, it should work just fine!

Now, as for washing, the plastic parts (everything but the bottle itself and the filter) are dishwasher safe but don''t run the filter or bottle through the dishwasher! The glue that holds the plastic rim to the steel can come loose and your bottle will leak, and if you run the filter through, it''ll soak up all the soap and be useless. Wash the bottle by hand, using a bottle brush, and don''t try to wash the filter rinse it if you need to, but eventually it WILL need to be replaced.

Anyways, overall, I''m extremely pleased with this bottle, and will definitely be buying more.

I love this water bottle. I got it for Christmas and have been drinking a ton more water since because it is sort of fun drinking out of the CamelBak Groove. One thing I would definitely recommend is regular cleaning and airing out of this product. Like in any moist atmospheres, the mouth bit and valve will get a bit mildewy if you don''t rinse, clean, and air this bottle every week or so. I try to take of the mouth bite each evening to let it air out. Other than that, an amazing product!
