This bottle is made of strudy stainless steel, very strong...though not dent proof. Yet, it has a strong body and unless banged to surface, it won''t dent. water is odorless and best of all, even if it is kept under sun for a long time while playing outdoors, water is safe to consume unlike plastic bottles.

I was a little leary about buying this product as I had read about some kind of bad taste and green gel coming out of the lid, I had none of that. This bottle has been great. The drinking area is covered by the lid, so its always clean to put your lips to. With the wide lid, I find it a bit easier to clean as well. very good product indeed.

Pros: finger hole in cap makes it easy to carry; large size reduces frequency of refilling; leak proof. Cons: expensive, makes a loud clang if bumped with something metal (like a key); bottom too large to fit in vehicle cup holder; need a bottle washer to clean sufficiently; interior bottom rusted. I purchased the Klean Kanteen to hold drinking water at my office desk. I was very satisfied and felt justified with its cost UNTIL I noticed the interior bottom has rusted after two years of use. I am replacing with BPA-free plastic.
