every thing i want in a water bottle! double opening makes it easy to fill with ice and water and also the smaller opening makes it easy to drink from. it doesn''t taste like metal because of the lining. it''s just perfect!
Unfortunately, although the product claims to be dishwasher safe, upon first washing in our dishwasher the inner plastic liner around the mouth of the bottle started to flake off. I assumed it must be a fluke, processed the return through Amazon (very quick and easy process!) and we received a second one very shortly. However, the same exact thing happened. My husband tried to use it anyway and ignore it, but then found more of the liner flaking off into his water-gross!
He then contacted the SIGG company directly and sent them a photo. They easily agreed to exchange the bottle for a different type. We are currently in the process of that exchange so I can''t comment on the replacement bottle. I''ve had other types of SIGG''s in the past with no problem so I assume it will be fine.
Amazon and SIGG have both had great customer service throughout-but the bottle itself has been a bust. Get a different kind of SIGG!

I''ve had one of these for a year now, my wife has had one for a little while longer, my kids have two of the kid sized ones... the only thing that would make them all better, is if the powder coat finish used was a little more durable.These bottles are supposed to be for an active life style, but the coating flakes and chips off if the bottle sees any sort of abuse. My wide mouth looks like hell, but still functions perfectly.
Will say the active sports top is much better than the screw plug, makes it easier to drink while riding a bike, or taking a quick second to drink mid playing sports.This was exactly what I needed more volume and the ability to fit whole ice cubes inside, as well as easier to clean! No complaints here.
