Sounds like a decent water bottle, right? Well there are two issues I have with it:
1) The smell. The bottle had a horrible "plastic" smell when it arrived I washed it with 4 or 5 different kinds of soaps/cleaners and the smell just wouldn''t go away. After all the cleaning, it didn''t seem to taint the taste of my Gatorade, but I can''t help but think it is outgassing something into my drink. Its been 2 months later and the smell has greatly diminished, but its still there. I always store the bottle clean and with the cap off so it can air out. So if you''ve got a race this weekend this isn''t your bottle.
2) The bottom bottle strap is difficult to get on, and when the bottle gets wet, it slips off very easily. The last 3 times I''ve done long runs (over an hour) I''ve had the strap pop off the bottom when switching hands. Trying to fix the strap while sitting in your kitchen before a run is trivial. Trying to fix it while not tripping over tree roots 80 minutes into your run is completely different.
I''ve paid for this bottle and the smell is slowly going away, so I''ll continue to use it. But I wouldn''t buy a second one for my wife to use.

I love the thermal sleeve, it keeps my hand from being frozen from the ice cubes, and keeps the water colder longer. The bottle is strangely shaped, which would be fine for most people (i think) but not for me. my hands are small, and the bottle is very wide. it isn''t so bad if i turn it to the skinny side, but you can tell it isn''t meant for being held that way.Read Best Reviews of Amphipod Handheld Thermal-Lite | 20 Ounce Here
This item is cool but water tastes like a leak from Chernobyl nuclear pool. I washed it lots of times and the taste is less strong now. It''s a perfect size for a 5-6 mile run and it stays in place great, you don''t have to try to hold on.
