New Wave Enviro Replacement Stainless Steel Loop Cap

I purchased this for a 1-liter New Wave Enviro water bottle. It does NOT work on that water bottle, it is too small and the threads are completeley different. It fits a Klean Kanteen bottle, NOT New Wave Enviro. Have no idea how to return this, I suspect I''m out the money.

I bough this cap and three bottles to try them all, one 40 oz from LIFELINE GREEN, one 34 oz (1 liter) from NEW WAVE ENVIRO and one 12 oz from NEW WAVE ENVIRO,

The cap does not work well with 40 oz from LIFELINE, (my fault!) in the product description of this cap they claim it works well with NEW WAVE ENVIRO bottles, of course they dont say anything about other manufacturers.

So final point is to make sure you match cap manufacturer with bottle manufacturer.

Now a complain: can they please stop making a NON TOXIC STEEL BOTTLES WITH A PLASTIC CAP!

whats the point?!

If NEW WAVE sells steel bottles why they dont include steel caps also? this might save us the time and money related to returned items!!!

I contacted amazon.com customer service and they are spot on. I love the plain brushed stainless steel and would recommend for purchase.

Bought this replacement ring for my 40-ounce bottle. It didn''t even come close to fit. Total rip off. The only positive fact is that the silicone o-ring did fit the old cap and solved my problem. The most expensive o-ring ever!

My interpretations of the usability of these tops are much different than decribed..They are exactly the same as what comes on the water bottle when you purchase it so why would I need replacement tops if I hadn''t received the item yet ?? Misleading I feel thank you John
