Yoga Motion Bundle - Kids Yoga DVD, Eco-friendly Yoga Mat

Yoga Motion Bundle - Kids Yoga DVD, Eco-friendly Yoga Mat, & Water BottleMy 3 yr old son received this bundle as a present, and we love it! The DVD is really set up with thoughtful insight into the "kid''s mindset," as the DVD is in sections that you can do stand alone/a-la-carte. This is great for my "on the go" son who wont sit for a whole DVD, but will do 10-20 minutes. The Yoga Mat is very high quality, and frankly better than my Yoga mat. Also, my son has about 5 different water bottles but he loves his "Namaste Kid" one and carries it everywhere. I think he''s just attracted to the color, but he loves it! I''m planning on using the DVD as my go-to kid birthday present from here on out!

My 3 yr old loves this DVD! From the moment we played the first segment she was totally engaged and excited to try the yoga poses. She had a huge smile on her face while watching the video and kept saying "look Mommy! I''m doing a tree" while she was doing the tree pose. The pacing of this DVD is perfect for little one''s attention span and I can pick and choose which routine I would like her to do depending on her mood and time of day. We have so much fun doing the yoga poses together and she loves the 1-1 time we spend together doing it. I was also very impressed with the positive and encouraging energy of the yoga instructor. Even I started to relax while watching the DVD with my daughter. I highly recommend this DVD and I am planning on purchasing a few more for Christmas presents.

Mueller Sports Medicine, Inc. Sport Water Bottle

Mueller Sports Water Bottle Natural QuartThis bottle is what you have been looking for if you play sports with face mask on.

I bought this for my son to use at Kendo practice. Like hockey they need a long straw to fit through the masks. It works great. The lid is a little difficult to screw on correctly which is why I gave it only 4 stars. Other than that works well.

This straw water bottle is very effective if you wear helmet with face protection such as ice hockey helmet. The straw is pretty long it reaches mouth without problems. My bottle doesn''t leak. Plastic doesn''t stink and plastic is somewhat transparent. It looks good too.

I''m satisfied with this purchase and i would recommend it to my friend.

This water bottle has held up for my 13 year old''s lacrosse and rugby seasons. He is notoriously rough on products. This is well made...much more durable than the sporting goods chain bottles.

Bought two of these for my boys playing lacrosse and it made it so much easier to drink water without taking off their helmets. I love the idea, wish there was a better "stopper" that would stay on if you fill up the bottle and then pick up the water bottle it squirts out very easily.

Connelly Binding Slime 32 ounce Bottle

Connelly Binding Slime 32 ounce BottleI''ve tried many different brands of binding slime, and this has performed as well as any. I have top-of-the-line (read: difficult to get my feet into) wakeboard bindings which would be impossible to use without slime, and this stuff allows me to be locked in and ready to go in a flash. Also, this product washes off quickly once my feet are in the water so that I don''t slide around inside the boots during my ride. My family uses the product for water skis as well, and it works like a charm!

Silver 27oz Wide Mouth Stainless Steel Reusable Water Bottle

Silver 27oz Wide Mouth Stainless Steel Reusable Water Bottle w/ Hiking ClipBought three of these bottles to replace my aluminum drinking bottles. I thought that I was safe from the dangers of plastic bottles with the aluminum bottle until I realized that there was a plastic liner inside so I bought this stainless model with the wide mouth. This bottle meets my needs especially with the wide mouth which is definitely comfortable (I''m not going back to the narrow mouthed models). The one big issue is the initial metallic taste that you will get on using the bottle for the first few times. I soaked the bottles first in diluted vinegar then washed them with detergent but you will definitely notice the metallic aftertaste. The only good thing is that the taste disappears with time. Maybe by soaking the bottles for a longer time before initial use you can avoid the aftertaste. Otherwise, this item performs as expected.

This is one great bottle for $5.99. You would pay 2 to 4 times as much for a comparable bottle elsewhere. It''s a bit larger than I care to carry for a short outing, I use my 18 oz bottle for that. But for longer outing''s this size bottle is great. The wide mouth is easy to drink out of, plus easy to fill and slip ice cube''s into. I would never go back to a narrow mouth bottle again. The steel clip looks far from weak to me, as some reviewer''s mentioned. But this is a non issue, since I took it off and don''t use it anyway. Unlike a narrow mouth bottle the cap on this is a snap to take off or on, less than 3 half or 180 degree turn''s and it''s done. This bottle also fit''s nicely into my car cup holder. When filled with ice water, your hand will get cold holding it plus the bottle will start sweating. Wrapping it in a quality paper towel that does not fall apart like Bounty worked well for me, plus it still fit''s into my cup holder. This bottle is all stainless steel inside and out. There is nothing to peel off, as on some painted bottles.

When I first got it I washed it out with detergent, than soaked it for a while in a vinegar solution. The water taste''s great, I can''t detect any metallic taste whatsoever. I would highly recommend this bottle.

UPDATE:: OCT.2010; Been using these bottles for over 1 1/2 years now nearly on a daily basis. They still work and look like new even after washing them in the dishwasher on occasion.

I bought this one and the 18oz version and I can''t be happier. Not metal taste at all. The lid is also great, much better than the standard lid. The wide mouth version is great for putting in ice cubes and cleaning. The clip is pretty weak, but I don''t use it anyway.

This is a nice bottle that would go for $10 in a store. I like the wide mouth top and it seals nicely. The metal ring that holds the clip is a little weak, but I removed it anyways. I plan to buy another for work.

CamelBak Big Bite Valve

CamelBak Big Bite Valve
  • One piece silicone design means no moving parts to break.
  • Self seals after each sip

These nozzles leak if you place your bag on top of them or even bend over, it pinches it. This nozzle constantly leaks all our water out, soaks our bag and pisses us off. Our other bags have the locking one which is much better. The best nozzle I have used was some no name brand bag. You had to bite between two solid cylinders. That was great. The quality of rubber is good of course so it gets 2 stars... but seriously, get the locking one. You have been warned.

These values would probably last the life of the bladder, but I had an unfortunate incident with some mice and had to replace mine! Fits just like the valve that came with the backpack and works great!

I think this is a very, very good product based on several years experience. It will leak if you set something on top of it or let your pack roll over on top of it. After all it is designed to open under pressure. No valve will last forever. After enough hard use or pressure, or if dirt or grass gets stuck in the valve it will not close completely and will leak. More than once I''ve had water drip down the front of my shirt from a worn out or damaged valve. A few years ago I discovered the CamelBak Ergo HydroLock. I still sometimes forget to turn it off, but that''s my problem not CamelBak''s.

Klean Kanteen Wide Mouth Insulated Water Bottle with Loop Cap

Klean Kanteen Wide Insulated Bottle with Stainless Steel Loop CapI''ve had several of the regular Klean Kanteen bottles which are great, but I always disliked the fact that the liquid didn''t stay cold for long unless the tote was used, and the bottle would sweat quite a bit. I didn''t like the tote because it smelled odd and made the bottle awkward to set down on tables. When I saw the insulated bottles I bought 2 of the 20 oz size, one with just the regular loop cap and one with the cafe cap. I have to disagree with what everyone has said about both caps. I love them both! I use the bottle with the loop cap the most, and it keeps my juice cold all day, 9+ hours at work, even without adding ice. The cafe cap doesn''t leak for me, either out the opening or around the seal. Of course, it does state that the opening you drink from isn''t supposed to be leak-proof, it says it right on the packaging. I don''t upend my bottle, but if I did, I might get a few drips at the most. These are great as travel mugs for coffee, they even fit in my car''s cup holders. I don''t think most travel mugs are completely leak-proof anyway, especially if you can drink out of the cap. Keeps coffee hot for the whole day, just as stated. Would also be great for smoothies or soup. I plan to buy a couple of the 12 oz size for my lunch bag. Another excellent product from Klean Kanteen!

OK...it was a little hard to spend this much on a water bottle, but I am glad that I did. Water stays cold a long time & I am sure that a heated drink would stay warm just as long. No metal taste at all! Easy to clean. I''m glad that I spent a little more $$$ and purchased the insulated Klean Kanteen. UPDATE: After four months of using this bottle I appreciate it even more. I live in Florida & this bottle keeps my water cold even AFTER it has sat in my HOT car for several hours!

As a student, I feel that I am always on the go and always craving coffee. This bottle is almost magical in its ability to preserve the temperature of your drink (hot or cold), and maintain the taste (no plasticy aftertaste). This is obviously because of the vacuum insulation, and stainless steel construction, respectively, along with supurb build quality.

I will now speak specifically about cold and hot liquids in the bottle, as well as a lid (something that is very important to a bottle.

Cold: This is what it seems to handle the best. Ice stays frozen for hours (seems like up to 10 or 12 hours sometimes), and ice water will stay pleasantly cold for nearly 20 hours. I put water with ice in the bottle around 3:00 one afternoon, and it was still quite cold the following morning around 10:00. Another advantage of keeping very cold water in this bottle versus a non-insulated klean kanteen is the fact that it does not sweat.

Hot: Coffee from my keurig coffee machine stays at a delectible temperature for up to 5 hours after brewing with this bottle. With a traditional coffee pot, or a french press (where the temperature is usually higher than a keurig''s serving temperature) would last longer. I have not tested this personally.

Lid: This is the weakest part of the bottle by far. There are two things about the lid which bothers me quite a bit. Firstly, the lid is not supposed to be fully submerged in water when washing. Water "under pressure" can leak into the lid and have no hopes of getting out. Secondly, and partially due to the difficulty of cleaning caused by the first point, the lid seems to smell strongly of whatever you have been drinking. This is most evident with coffee. Otherwise, the lid keeps a tight seal when on the bottle, and leaves you feeling comfortable tossing the bottle in your bag with a computer and notebooks, etc.

Summary:

This bottle is great, and does as it advertises quite brilliantly. It handles hot and cold liquids well, and makes taking your drinks wherever you go easy and pain-free. Unfortunately, the lid made a nearly-perfect bottle not entirely perfect in the end.

It keeps things cold all day long, but the lid system needs to be improved.

If you carry a full bottle of iced coffee to work as I do, you have to use the loop cap to transport it then switch to the cafe cap. There should be one leak proof cafe cap for this. Since it''s insulated, I imagine people aren''t necessarily drinking water from it and would rather not drink their hot/cold beverage from the side of the bottle. You shouldn''t have to buy an additional cap.

The loop cap sweats a lot when there''s something cold in it. Beware when putting it in your bag.

The cafe cap leaks and spills on your face when you get to the end of the bottle and tilt it too high.

I own a regular Klean Kanteen and used it occasionally. I liked the idea of a long term stainless bottle but it did very poorly keeping things cold, compared to, say, a Nalgene bottle. The thinner steel is far less insulating than polycarbonate. It also made tons of condensation.

This Klean Kanteen is about as opposite as you get from that. It keeps things colder longer than any Thermos I''ve ever had, and seemed to do well with hot stuff too, although I''ve only tried hot chocolate one time and drank it quickly. I just filled it with ice water and shook it for several minutes, and the outside was still the same temperature, amazingly insulted. Also, the top is big enough to put ice in with ease, another issue with the original Klean Kanteens.

I have experienced no leaks, and I haven''t treated it very nicely. It''s been in gym bags and all over my car, and it''s falling onto concrete once. The only slight downside to this bottle is that it''s bigger than a normal 20 ounce bottle, because of the insulation jacket, but there''s nothing that can be done about that. It''s completely reasonably sized.

If you are willing to spend $25 on a bottle (I had to grit my teeth over this too), this is a SUPERB one to buy. It is worth every penny.

Thermos Stainless Steel Hydration Bottle

Thermos 18-Ounce Stainless-Steel Hydration Bottle, CharcoalI enjoy using this bottle a lot. I was initially looking for the 22oz E5 bottle, but it was out of stock everywhere I looked. I purchased this bottle instead and it has worked out well.

I really like video reviews of products that actually let you see the product. Since this bottle did not have a video yet, I thought I would make a video review. I hope it helps you decide if this is right hydration bottle for you too.

I like my water to be ice-cold when I am biking. I tried a bunch of things with my standard issue water bottle filling it with ice cubes and adding pre-chilled water, filling it with ice cubes and a little pre-chilled water, freezing some water in the bottle and adding some pre-chilled water.... regardless of what combination I tried the water was tepid after 45 minutes. I looked for a couple of weeks at all the offerings that Amazon had when you search for insulated water bottle, and after using this one for 2 weeks I can say that I purchased the hands down best one for using on my bike.

My normal ride is going to be anywhere from 80 to 120 minutes in length. I get a glass full of ice and add water and let it chill for the 5 minutes it takes me to get my gear on. The screw off top makes it easy to pour the water in and the 4 or 5 ice-maker ice-cubes I top it off with. The cubes will still be in the bottle at the end of the ride and the water will have been ice cold for the duration. It is easy to pull it out of the cage and to replace it when done. I purchased a Topeak Modula Cage Waterbottle Cage to hold it because it is adjustable and highly rated. It works well with the bottle, although while it doesn''t scratch the bottle, it is possible to see in the brushed finish where it contacts the bottle as it is taken out and put back in. The marks seem to mostly disappear when I rub with my thumb, but if you are desirous of the bottle keeping a pristine appearance you might want to look at some of Topeak''s other offerings. To me, it is easier to drink from this bottle than one of the normal bottles with the pull-out nipple. One push of the thumb on the release button and the top springs open and exposes the wide mouth spout. The bottle does not add any flavor to the water. The cap is equally easy to close as it was to open, and the bottle does not leak when it is inverted, shaken, etc. I was somewhat nervous about the shape of the bottle as far as dropping it, but now that I have used it I have found that the ridged rubber grip on the bottle and the fact that it is not slippery because it does not sweat have put that fear to rest. Opening and closing the bottle are both one handed operations and can be accomplished by touch. I am sure that there will be some that wish it held more than 18 ounces, and if I extend out my rides to where it''s a problem for me I guess I''ll just buy a second one and mount it so that I could swap out as needed.

I take water everywhere. I don''t want plastic. And I had a very nice looking and "safe" water bottle. Trouble was, it didn''t keep my water cold and got hot fast. In addition, it was a hassle unscrewing it, taking a drink and putting the cap back. Took both hands and lots of time. Useless in the car.

This Thermos is wonderful! I have the Hydration Bottle 2465. It keeps your water COLD all day. It''s easy to hold and pack in a purse or any sort of bag. And you can easily open it with one hand, flip it open and take a drink. Use one hand in the car and enjoy your water.

It''s sturdy and has a nice feel.

I have the 18 oz, which is perfect for me. I''m sure the larger size is every bit as good. I wouldn''t be without this great bottle.

Highly recommended.

1/5/2010 IMPORTANT UPDATE: I''ve had this bottle now over one year. I''ve had to replace a washer in it twice because it leaked. The manufacturer provided me with about five of them free. However, this is annoying. Due to that, I can''t recommend this bottle. I still use mine and so far it''s doing fine. But this seems to be a common problem with the bottle (they knew immediately what the problem was when I described it) and not one you want to have to deal with.

Forget those expensive metal water bottles from the Swiss. This is exactly what I wanted. It holds 18 ounces, keeps water cool for hours, has a rubber grip in the center, is all steel inside and out except for the cap, has a neat cap that pops open when you push a button, has a clasp to keep it shut, is water tight, easy to clean, etc. Very well designed, in my opinion. The vacuum layer is steel so you don''t have to worry about a glass vacuum inner bottle breaking. Perfect for those who do not want to drink out of leeching plastic bottles. I am very happy with this.

This is fairly expensive, but I am very please with the quality of the product. Previously, I had been buying plastic bottles every few months, until the it got too dirty and started making the water taste bad.

With this bottle, I find myself drinking more water.

Pros:

Stainless steel(BPA fee), so water taste good and doesn''t pick up residues

Insulated, so no wet messes on your desk & papers due to condensation

Nice cap design, I like the way the lid closes and seals the bottle from the outside. It''s really easy to open close

Mouth piece, very easy to drink from, so no spill and you get plenty of water, so no sipping like Dasani bottles

Cons:

The only one I could think of is the opening is kind of small to it can be hard to put ice in there if you have large pieces of ice or you are trying to fill the ice from an ice machine. But, that is being really picky.

Sawyer 3-Way Inline Water Filter Save 16% off

Sawyer 3-Way Inline Water FilterI have two of these and about to invest in the purifier.

Let me say that this is an exceptional filter.

If you''ve never used an ''in-line'' system this is the way to go. There''s nothing to replace, wear out and it just keeps working. If it gets clogged up, use the faucet thingy, or just reverse direction and use a bag of mostly clean water in the same bag, roll and squeeze it until you blow out all the gunk then continue filtering.

The flow rate is surprisingly good. In my kitchen just now (using well water) it will empty a 2L Platypus Big-Zip in 2:30. Then I filled a 5 gallon car-boy jug in under 30 min. With a pump you''d only filter what you needed, often neglecting washing water etc. With this system I filter as much as I can then use the hanging bag as a hand-wash and dish wash station!

I found the flow rate is good enough to sip from the straw without too much resistance either from a bag, or dropping the ''dirty end'' of the tube into water and drinking directly. In fact, if you set the clean end of the tube downhill and remove the bite-piece and then get it started, it will syphon out of a pool or puddle nicely.

No other filter out there can come close to the "Million Gallon Guarantee" and that''s why I chose Sawyer and stuck with them.

A couple months back I decided I would finally purchase myself a water filter system for those days that I forget water.. Or I decide to go camping where fresh water is not an option.. As in backpacking into some of the 1,000,000+ acres of state forest land that is found here in southeastern Minnesota..

After looking at many different options... MSR.. .Katadyn... Aquamira... I decided to go with the Sawyer 3-way Inline Water Filter.. I chose it based on reviews I found on-line.. And unlike the different pump systems out there that could(and have from reviews) break down.. I went with what seemed simple enough... Connect to hydration pack and sip.. I also liked the idea that this water filter could be used in many different ways.. From a simple straw system where you connect the tubes and dip directly into the water source and sip.. Or gravity system where you can fill up your hydration bladder with water.. and allow it to drip down into another container.. ie: water jug/dish tub/nalgene.. Or it can even be connected to a water faucet if you are in an area where you should not drink tap water..

The filter is good and guaranteed for up to 1,000,000 gallons.. How you would keep track of that is beyond me.. But I imagine it''s guaranteed for life by that statement. It is equipped with a 0.1 micron absolute hollow fiber membrane filter.. Protects you from 99.99999% bacteria and 99.99999% protozoa and cysts... The filter weights in at a whole 3oz.. So it''s definitely light enough for the hardcore backpacker..

So Saturday I finally got to test it out as I had forgotten to fill my hydration bladder before heading to the stream to do some fishing.. So I unhooked my platypus and dipped it in the nice cold stream and filled it up and my thirst was instantly quenched... First thing I was impressed with was how easy it was to draw water from my pack with the filter on.. Could barely tell that it was even hooked onto my hydration pack.. The second thing I noticed was how clean tasting the water was.. Even fresh well water has that metallic/earthy taste to it.. This water tasted as filtered and fresh as possible without the nasty chemical/chlorine taste that is added to municipal water sources.. Or from chlorine/iodine tabs.. Even with nymphs and all swimming around in the bag.. It tasted great! And 3 days later.. I''m not sick! So it obviously does it''s job..

I would recommend this to anyone looking into a hydration system as it''s simple to use and on the cheaper end at only $50-60.. No maintenance besides maybe having to backwash it as it get''s used more or is used in very dirty water.. And the chance of this thing actually "breaking down" seems slim

This is a lightweight lifesaver! I purchased this, along with a Platypus 3L Big Zip, for a recent Half-Dome hike as well as for an emergency preparedness go-bag. Had to use it a couple times on the Half-Dome hike for a group of six as we were all running out of or low on water on the return hike. I found a couple good faster-flowing areas to fill up along the Merced. I love how this utilizes quick change connectors very easy to work with. I built an inline carbon filter to supplement the Sawyer (based on this ) and it worked out well. I think the carbon filter improved the water taste quality slightly. Either way, the real test was to wait and see if me, my wife, or any of our friends got sick after drinking the water. I haven''t heard anything so far!

It was a bit tricky getting this thing going. Maybe the carbon filter contributed to this. I''m going to have to play around with it more it seems like it required bit of pressure to get the flow started consistently.

That said, it was good that I had the system because almost everyone ran out of water on the way back down. We would have been in trouble but the Sawyer saved the day! Huge thumbs up for this system, and I love how simply back flushing the unit is enough to ''clean'' it out sufficiently.

They''re also really prompt in responding to emails if you have questions. One important thing to note: NEVER attempt to wash the filter with soap/soapy water this will destroy the filter.

Pointing out the obvious, this thing will filter to .1 micron, which is the best you''ll find ever in a portable water filter. Nothing beats this, and this will take out nearly everything. HOWEVER, since this filter does not have a carbon core, there is no change in water taste, so if the water is nasty, it will be clean, but still nasty. Excellent however for ultralight backpacking and hydration bladders.

While shopping for a traditional pump filter for backpacking, I stumbled upon this little inline filter and I''m so glad I did. With space and weight being a premium as a light backpacker, it is a perfect fit. Better yet, it provides a great flow and you can''t tell there is an inline filter attached to my Platypus Big Zip which is a great combination. I will most certainly buy again.

For the ounce crunchers, the filter wet with the tubing connectors was right at 3 ounces.

Ultimate Direction 4oz Gel Flask

Ultimate Direction Packaged 4-Ounce Gelflask, WhiteI''d like to begin by saying that gel flasks are a great idea; they allow you to carry multiple servings in a tidy way that doesn''t create a mess in your pocket. These also allow you the freedom to make your own gels using ingredients such as brown rice syrup.

In order to get the best experience you should use a low viscosity gel that flows easily.

In selecting this flask I ruled out Hammer''s version because I didn''t want to have to deal with the secondary cover. Seemed like if you needed one of those you might be looking at leakage if kept in a jersey pocket.

I also purchased a couple of softpaks but did not like the flow rate--even with a thin gel like Hammer I felt like I had to bite and squeeze too hard to get anything out.

This Ultimate Direction flask, by comparison, is quite good both for cycling and for running (with the belt holster). The valve doesn''t leak, it''s not too difficult to pop open and has a good flow rate. I also like the numbers on the side which help you measure servings. This is helpful if you''re going out for a short ride and only need 1 or 2 shots.

For cleaning the mouth was just large enough to fit a bottle cleaning brush.

All in all there is really nothing I''d change. I bought 5 to keep clean ones handy and to have a stock in the case that I drop one or two during a race and can''t retrieve it.

There is nothing wrong with this bottle except the price.

I highly recommend going with the three pack of Nathan bottles for value''s sake. Those are probably still a bit overpriced, but much more reasonable than this.

WaterU® 2.2 Liter BPA Free Water Jug with Handle

WaterU® 2.2 Liter BPA Free Water Jug with Handle, Stainless Steel Screw CapI can smell the plastic right out of the box,

Washed it twice by hand, and in the dish washer before use.

Water bottle leaves nasty aftertaste in mouth.

Honestly made me sick, the entire day I was nauseous because of the taste of this water bottle, and i only drank about half of the water that was in there before i couldn''t take it anymore.

There was a white powdery dusty film on the outside of the bottle when it came out of the packaging...... first sign of poor handling and storage that I noticed. Had slight scratch marks on the bottle as well.

Very cheaply made, says made Proudly in China on the bottom of the bottle.

The lid does not leak, and that is why I was buying this product, but the taste of the product is just plain NASTY and unbearable.

I threw it out after this awful experience.

I would recommend that anyone interested in buying this style of bottle, to buy the resin bottle that is available. (have not tried it, but should not have this taste)

Hope this helps.

RIP to all of the other customers who through their bottles away as well.

These water jugs are great! 5/5 stars!

Whom ever designed these jugs didn''t leave anything out. Perfect size for bringing water to work or out for camping/outdoor events.

Lid-Stainless steel lid that is appealing and functional. To never loose the cap they attached a lanyard to it. Very sturdy and looks like it will last a very long time. Made out of similar fabric to a dog leash...

BPA Free-Woot! No toxic chemical residue to slowly leak into your drinking water!

These jugs are so neat and look great, that my Dad who uses them at work had to order some for the guys at the shop. They wanted some too!

I was looking for a water bottle that i could fill up in the morning and drink all day. The only challenge is that sometimes the cap doesn''t go on straight and the water will leak if the bottle tips, but as long as you screw it on right there is no leaking. I would definitely recommend this and would buy it again.

This bottle although it professes to be BPA Free was made in China. Frankly, we don''t trust anything made in China! Read the book, Death by China to understand our reasoning!

Nike Running Hydration Belt (waist size 25-28in)

Nike Running Hydration Belt - Size 1But that''s about it. The belt fits snugly and the water bottles are a good size. The only complaint I have is that if you catch one squarely with your elbow or run up a steep hill, it is definitely possible for these to pop out of the belt. I have dropped a number of these already and lost one as well. I wouldn''t recommend this for anyone who runs a lot of hills or trails.

The velcro adjustment option is not good enough for a regular sized guy like myself (170 lb) I cannot tighten the belt enough as i run and it slips down on the run under the weight of its own filled bottles. Maybe they designed this belt for huge or fat people. My advice: don''t buy this item.

A hydration belt is a necessity for any long run. This one is great, the bottles are easy to get in and out of the holster, my only problem is that I should''ve gotten a size bigger. Im usually a size 4/small, and the size 1 is a little snug. But it still works great, use it all the time.

SKS Bottle Cage Adapter Mount for Bicycles Save 1% off

SKS Bottle Cage Adapter Mount for BicyclesI like the fact that it is adjustable, and that the strap to attach it can be used on many widths and types of bicycle framing. But, it does stick out a lot more than I anticipated, which makes it less useful to me on my step-thru bicycle. If you have a top-tube it will work beautifully, but with a step-thru the options are limited on where to attach it without hitting it getting on and off the bike.

I love it and no regret of buying it. It fits to different bike and it is very easy and fast to install. No tool needed. Don''t park your bike with it. I believe it will be gone in a second. I will take it with me. Once it is clipped on, it holds very good. The only bad thing is I bought it before discount, but still very happy with it. I recommend to everyone.

I purchased a Motobecane 650DS and the frame, being dual suspension, did not have the predrilled holes for a water bottle cage. I purchased this adapter for my bike since it was low cost. I have used this faithfully for the past 150 miles of mountain bike riding. Even if I crash, this adapter stays in place. I also like that I can have the water bottle mounted on my gooseneck rather than on the frame. It makes it easier to get a drink when riding! Good quality, simple design, great price.

Allows you to easily mount a bottle holder pretty much anywhere on the bike. The tension position allows a snug fit. Note, that the holder bracket puts the bottle off from the position on the bike about an inch, so some positioning locations on the bike may be limited.

I was hoping for a solid, reliable cage mount. This is not quite as solid and reliable as I was hoping, but it''s actually very sturdy, considering how it mounts. The strap adjusts, and is held by friction against a pretty sticky rubber piece. I don''t know if it will hold up to repeated rough rides with a full bottle, but it does pretty well on smoother roads, and would hold lighter accessories without issue.

Great American Pittsburgh Penguins Stainless Steel Travel Mug

NHL Pittsburgh Penguins Stainless Steel Travel Mug - Primary LogoThe mug is just as described and pictured. The only problem was there was a small dent in the stainless steel. That''s one of the major reasons I prefer to purchase stainless steel mugs in person to make sure they aren''t dented. Other than that, I am satisfied with the purchase. It came way faster than it said when I purchased it which makes me think maybe they just try to make you upgrade to the more expensive shipping instead of going with the free super saver (which is the option I chose).

Picnic At Ascot Picnic Pack with removable blanket Save 47% off

Picnic At Ascot Picnic Pack with removable blanket - for four. This is probably one of the better picnic sets i''ve seen. All the pieces are sturdy and not flimsy cheap stuff like in other sets.

Just used this pack for the first time last weekend, and while I enjoyed it I think a couple minor improvements would make it better. First the good part everything you need for a picnic, always together in one place, easy to add your wine, cheese, bread etc and hit the road. The two suggestions I''d make to the designer are

#1 the cool compartment is very narrow and does not have much capacity. If you wanted to take a pint-sized container of some salad, it is not wide enough.

#2 the shoulder straps are thin and uncomfortable. I don;t think they were well designed for the weight to be borne by the pack if it is well loaded with food & wine, along with the std accessories.

Net-net, good pack (not great) + good price = a good buy...just wish it were a great one!

Backpack is very sturdy. I wish the food compartment was a little bigger, but it will suffice. Napkins are very small, I will probably change them out. Overall I am pleased with the purchase, probably a little overpriced, but I will get a lot of use from it.

So this is my favorite picnic basket as though the other "basket" types are adorable, this is super functional and your husband will carry it because its actually a bookbag so he still feels cool. It has everything for a good time starting with a wine holder for your red and a cooler inside that you can store some bubbly or white if your prefer. All the included plates, napkins, cups, utensils are great. It even boasts a wine opener so you don''t have to use your teeth! Don''t think twice! Snag this while you can!

Coleman 70-Quart Xtreme Cooler (Blue) Save 13% off

Coleman 70-Quart Xtreme CoolerThis review is for two similar Coleman Xtreme coolers, which are virtually the same size on the exterior: the 70-quart, 5-day, BLUE cooler and the 56-quart, 6-day, GREEN cooler. By the way, these coolers do not come equipped with a plastic shelf to keep food suspended above the melt water.

First, let me say that Coleman made its reputation years ago with its workhorse, white-gas cook stoves and lanterns. Today Coleman mostly makes products for backyard use and casual family camping. Coleman generally does not make quality products for avid outdoors people operating in rugged or demanding conditions, so you can''t expect too much when purchasing a Coleman product.

That said, I went through Amazon.com to purchase a Green Coleman 6-day cooler because I didn''t want to shell out hundreds of dollars more for a tougher product and because I needed a cooler that would fit comfortably between the gunwales of our canoes. So far, I have used this cooler on two river trips, the first of which lasted seven days in southern Utah during September, 09. The weather was hot, but could have been hotter. Our block ice lasted 6 days, and on the 7th day we had plenty of ice water, so the cooler achieved its 6-day rating.

This was followed with a 4-day trip in October, which wasn''t long enough to test the cooling performance of the cooler, but did reveal the cooler''s low-quality construction. On the second day out, one of the handles came off when its plastic retaining pin fell out. A member of our party had with them a smaller Coleman Xtreme cooler, and both of its hinges were broken off and useless. So, if you plan to use this cooler much, I would suggest taking the preventive measures described below. And then try to be gentle with it.

A few weeks ago I purchased a 70-quart, 5-day Blue cooler at Wal-Mart for $30. At this price I couldn''t pass it up. Apparently the store had a few of these left over from last year, and they were being sold at a deep discount because Wal-Mart is featuring a different Coleman Xtreme product line this year. I haven''t used this cooler yet, but I can describe how the two Xtreme coolers compare physically.

NOTE: See my "customer images" available under the main product photo to see what I am describing here.

On the exterior, the two coolers are indistinguishable except for the colors. Same cheap plastic hardware on both. On the interior, the 6-day green cooler has noticeably thicker walls implying more insulation, and thus 20 percent less volume than the blue 5-day cooler.

Here are the fixes I have adopted in an effort to overcome the flimsy hardware issues. When I got home from the second river trip, I used a screwdriver to pry out the plastic retaining pins on the two handles (two pins each) and glued them back into place with Gorilla glue. This I expect will hold the pins in place for a while. On the newer cooler, I removed the plastic handles altogether and replaced them with rope handles. This type of handle has the advantage of remaining in a fixed position (unlike the original sliding plastic handles) allowing me to run a strap between them to secure the lid in case of a canoe upset.

On the interior of each cooler, I have screwed into place a short nylon strap between the lid and the side wall. The strap is long enough to allow the lid to open beyond 90 degrees and remain in an upright and open position, but the strap is short enough to prevent the lid from extending backward far enough to place excessive strain on the hinges. I am hoping this will keep the hinges from snapping anytime soon.

i bought this cooler in preparation for a 5 day camping trip to sequoia. I needed to store enough food for a family of four hungry campers, and needed it to fit in the bear proof boxes, and didn''t want to be buying ice every day.

i only packed meat, eggs, and cheese items, mayo, mustard, etc. in this cooler, and kept veggies in a smaller, older cooler. I packed it with two one-gallon water jugs frozen, two half-gallon early times whiskey jugs, frozen (these are good because they are flat, flask-shaped jugs), and about four frozen water bottles. Several of the meat items were frozen when packed.

Day one, we traveled across Bakersfield, with the cooler sitting in the bed of my truck exposed to the sun, and the temperature in the sequoia foothills was 108 degrees. When we got to campsite, I was disappointed that the whiskey jug ice block had melted through. The cooler fit nicely inside the bear proof boxes (it fits in sideways as the bear boxes are 33" deep). Temperatures in the days were about 80 degrees with some sun exposure on the brown bear boxes. Day three the veggie cooler needed an additional seven pound bag of ice added. Day four I added an additional seven pound bag of ice into this cooler, thinking that it had been too hot the first day. Day six we drove back home, again through blazing 100 degree desert heat, and when I returned I found that one of the gallon water jugs was still half ice. All the leftover meat items were at a safe cold temperature.

So we got six days out of this cooler and it performed well for our trip.

I didn''t buy from Amazon, but from a local shop, and I noticed of the two they had in stock one of them closed tighter than the other, so I picked the tighter-closing one.

I purchased this cooler to use as a mash tun in my ten gallon brewing system and it works very well. I''ve noticed very little drop in temperature during 60 minute mashes (perhaps just a degree or two) and by adding either a SS hose braid or bazooka screen it lauters very well. If you are a home brewer looking for the perfect size cooler for ten gallon batches of beer which holds mash temps well then this is the cooler for you!

Cheers!

I purchased this large cooler for a 10-day camping trip in the desert heat of Black Rock City. Daytime temperatures soar well over 100 degrees. Kept in the shade, and opened 4-5 times a day, this cooler kept my food icy cold for 5 days just as advertised. By the third day, much of the ice had melted, by the fourth day, most ice was gone, but the melted water was still icy cold, and on the fifth day, the ice was gone and the water was just a little colder than a refrigerator-beverages were refreshingly cold, butter still hard, etc. I was afraid the cooler walls would be super thick, but they seem comparable with my other coolers. I was able to refill the cooler with ice after the fifth day, and it worked as well all over again, getting me through the rest of the trip. I will never buy a regular cooler again. these xtremes are great!

At $38, this cooler is a steal. We recently received the 70 Xtreme and took it on a three day camping trip to Yosemite. We primarily used ice packs with minimal cubed ice. The temperatures outside were in the mid seventies during the day, probably rising into the nineties within the sun exposed metal bear box. Temperatures fell to approximately 32F at night. Our food remained cool with cubed ice and the ice packs persisting at the end of the trip; I''m quite certain five days would not have been a problem. This is in contrast to our old 16qt Igloo cooler ($20 on Amazon, we paid more) in which all of the ice packs had melted within 24 hours during a Big Sur trip.

As some individuals stated, it''s construction isn''t the best. In particular, the handles feel quite unstable, and a failure if the cooler was fully loaded would not surprise me. It also does not contain shelves, which would be very useful. That said, we didn''t have any problems and, for the price, I don''t really expect a modern marvel of ice chest design.

This cooler functioned well for our needs and is an outstanding deal at the low price.
